- APC southeast governorship candidates have met with Yemi Osinbajo

Emerging reports have claimed that four governorship candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in southeast states on Thursday, December 6, went into a closed-door meeting with the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo.
This Day reports that the meeting was held at the Aso Rock presidential villa, Abuja. The candidates who had declined to reveal the purpose of their visit insisted that it was a private affair.
The four APC candidates that visited the seat of power are senators from Enugu; Imo; Ebonyi and Abia. They include Ayogu Eze, Hope Uzodinma, Sunny Uboji Ebonyi and Uche Ogah respectively.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, reassured stakeholders in the entertainment industry of the federal government’s commitment to support them to enhance national growth and development.
Osinbajo gave the assurance at an event organised for entertainers and tagged “An Evening with the vice president” in Lagos on Friday, October 26.
Hundreds of entertainers including actors, comedians and musicians, among other, were among creative artistes present at the event.
In a related development, Osinbajo on Tuesday, December 4, commenced door to door campaign at Nyanya and Karu suburbs of the FCT for the re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 general election.
Osinbajo was given a rousing welcome as residents of the communities thronged the streets shouting “Sai Baba! Sai Baba!’’.
He went from one corner of the communities to another campaigning from house to house while excited supporters surged to follow him around.
Addressing an enthusiastic crowd at Karu, the VP bellowed APC! APC! APC! while the crowd chorused Next Level!, as many times as Osinbajo mentioned APC.
