Nigerian man cries out after losing a N154m deal because of his nationality

- A Nigerian man has taken to social media to cry out after loosing a deal worth millions because of his nationality

- According to him, the foreigners pulled out of the deal the minute they discovered he was Nigerian

- He blamed his misfortune on yahoo boys who are destroying the reputation of the Nigerians doing honest jobs

If there is any major negative thing Nigeria as a country is known for, it is the act of scamming foreigners online. Sadly, this has affected the way the world views the country and as it appears, a lot of honest Nigerians are suffering the effect.

A Twitter user identified as Abdul, can certainly relate to this as he recently lost a deal worth N154m simply because of his nationality as a Nigerian. According to the freelance copywriter who claims to be certified globally, the foreigners pulled out of the deal the moment they discovered he was Nigerian.

He wrote: "Yahoo boys are really destroying the reputation of we Nigerians that are doing legit jobs online. Imagine closing a deal for a company on content creation only to be discovered you're Nigerian & the deal is called off !These idiots are ruining our businesses Haha

He went on to explain what actually happened: "So I was sent this. I guess I should explain what happened. I'm a pro digital marketer and freelance copywriter. I'm certified globally and I've got numerous certificates in my name. So I did what we call prospecting, that's seeking clients by proffering solution to their issue.

We had reached a conclusion all via mail and they were impressed that at a young age of 20 I have a lotta of achievements to my belt.Now we had finalized everything & all that was left was a Skype call to seal the deal. We started the call & there was network issues.
