Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso has been branded ‘woeful and liability' by club’s fans after Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat against Wolves.
According to a UK Sun report, many of the Blues faithful are pleading with Italian boss, Maurizio Sarri to axe the 27-year-old Spaniard for ex- Roma ace Emerson Palmieri in subsequent games.
Chelsea loss at the Molineux have seen the west London drop to the fourth spot in the Premier League log after suffering their second loss in three matches.
England star Ruben Loftus-Cheek netted the game opener for Chelsea but Wolves displayed a decent performance to turn the game around in the second half.
The pair of Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota bridged Chelsea back-line within four minutes to leave the Stamford Bridge dwellers ten points adrift of league leaders Man City.
After the blast of the final whistle Chelsea fans took to the social media to blast Alonso for his errors that lead to both goals.
A fan tweeted: "I have no words for Marcos Alonso!! Man has dropped a -10/10 performance. What a liability."

Another added: "Alonso with another shocker today, start Emerson."
The third summed up: "Marcos Alonso is disappointing on so many levels. His positioning, crossing all need to improve. Gone back to being his old inconsistent self.”
Interestingly, the Spaniard penned a new five-year deal recently, which will see him stay at Chelsea until 2023.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously had reported that Wolverhampton Wanderers were 2-1 winners over visiting Chelsea in a Premier League fixture played at the Molineux.
The defeat becomes Maurizio Sarri second in all competitions since taking over the mantle in the summer.
It was Ruben Loftus-Cheek who got the first goal in the 18th minute for Chelsea as his initial shot took a heavy deflection that wrong-footed Rui Patricio in goal.
In the second half the home side turned the game on its head as Diogo Jota sent the Molineux fans into frenzy as he slammed in a Matt Doherty's assist to make it 2-1 to Wolves.
