The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has been on strike for three weeks. This strike has left every university under the union on a temporary shutdown which left many of the students out of school.
Meanwhile, masters students at a Nigerian university under the union are expected to defend their projects immediately after the strike is over.
To prepare for their projects, these students called on a trusted lecturer to help them out. However, due to the fact that ASUU is on strike the lecturer had no choice but to disguise himself in order to attend to his students.
The lecturer had reportedly dressed up as comic superhero Spider-Man to help his 'friendly neigbourhood students', just like the friendly neigbourhood Spider-Man.
It was reported that the incident happened on Wednesday, December 5. The lecturer had told his students to expect Spider-Man who would assist them with their project.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that the Federal Government ordered the Vice Councillors of Universities to stop salary payment for striking lecturers.
