- Imo state governor, Okorocha, has once again taken a swipe at Adams Oshiomhole
- He said Oshiomhole as a victim of his own actions
- According to him, APC will lost the Imo state governorship election to his son-in-law who recently defected to the Action Alliance
Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo has lambasted the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, describing him as a political liability who is on a mission to destroy the ruling party.
Okorocha’s comments were in response to a statement credited to Oshiomhole that the Imo governor and his Ogun state counterpart, Ibikule Amosun, are political liabilities who only have one vote, each, Punch reports.
Legit.ng gathers that the governor, speaking through his commissioner for information, Patrick Nzeh, described Oshiomhole as a victim of his own actions.
He said since the emergence of Oshiomhole as the national chairman of the APC, the party had lost no fewer than ten million supporters.
Okorocha contended that the APC governorship candidate in Imo state would be defeated by his son-in-law, Uche Nwosu, who recently defected to the Action Alliance (AA).
Recall that Legit.ng previously reported that Adams Oshiomhole, the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said that going by the fame of the ruling party in Imo and Ogun, victory is sure in the states in the 2019 elections, despite the alleged anti-party activities of their governors.
He described Rochas Okorocha and Ibikunle Amosun as poor students of their own history who had forgotten they lost elections before winning on the platform of the APC.
