Nigerians have reacted on social media after music star Adekunle Temitope popularly known as Small Doctor was arrested for unlawful possession of firearm. The singer was arrested on Monday, December 3.

Legit.ng had earlier reported that Small Doctor had allegedly threatened to shoot a police man on traffic duty.

According to The Punch, the musician was arrested alongside three other suspects. They were arrested while driving an unregistered SUV.

Nigerians reacted to the news of the arrest, noting that the celebrity who has an upcoming concert is an ambassador of Nigerian Police Force.

Some people reacted to the arrest with jokes, using the singer's lyrics as their go to. They joked about how he kills mosquitoes with guns.

Others jokingly claimed that the celebrity should not be arrested due to the fact that he is an ambassador of the police force.

However, a Nigerian doubted if the arrest was real. He assumed that the arrest might be a publicity stunt for the concert.

Popular on-air-personality Daddy Freeze also reacted to the news. He noted his support for Small Doctor while adding that the music star would need a lawyer for his case.
