- Shehu Sani, a senator representing Kaduna central, warns Nigerians against returning two sets of politicians in 2019
- Sani names the two sets of politicians as those who destroyed Nigeria and those currently destroying it
- The senator did not mention any particular name or give details of his warning
The senator representing Kaduna central at the National Assembly, Shehu Sani, has sounded a warning to Nigerians on the set of politicians to watch out against during the forthcoming general elections in the country.
Sani, who recently defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) following a seemingly unending feud he had with the Kaduna state governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, said Nigerians should avoid those who destroyed the country before as well as those currently destroying it.
Sani did not, however, give details over his stand concerning the 2019 election.
Senator Shehu Sani joined the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) on October 3, just three days after he left the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He confirmed he had joined the party through a statement by his special adviser, political and ideology, Suleiman Ahmed, in Abuja.
Legit.ng also earlier reported how Shehu Sani, on Tuesday, September 25, declared that it is wrong for the Muhammadu Buhari government to decide to sell national assets to fund the 2018 budget.

Sani expressed his opposition to the reported decision in a tweet.
“The reported decision of the BPE to sell off 10 state owned firms ‘to fund the budget’ is wrong.
“I’m ideologically opposed to it. It will end up like the sale of power holding companies, enriching a few and without service delivery. I call on the president to stop it,” Sani, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) said.
