Chelsea manager Muarizio Sarri is reportedly uncomfortable with with Alvaro Morata and will be planning to sign another striker in January according to Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson.
The former Real Madrid star netted twice in the Blues 3-1 victory against Crystal Palace last weekend.
But his conversion rate for the Stamford Bridge side is poor considering the golden chance he squandered to complete a hatrick in the game.
SunSport has however opened up on his difficulties he has faced mentally, but has enjoyed enjoyed a number of playing time after winning his place back from January signing Olivier Giroud.
Chelsea are currently unbeaten in the Premier League and sit second in the table, two points behind leaders Manchester City.
However, Merson insists the Blues need to bring in a new front-man in the transfer window in order to compete for the title.

"Chelsea put out a strong team at BATE Borisov, perhaps it was too strong," he said.
"I understand Eden Hazard needs the minutes but surely you'd rather him have them against Everton rather than travelling all the way to Belarus.
"Chelsea have a decent squad and will be there or thereabouts this season, but they still need a proper goalscorer.
"You only need to look at Alvaro Morata's late chance against Palace.
"Yes, the game was won, but Ian Wright, Alan Shearer, Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen, Thierry Henry, Harry Kane and the like would have sealed their hat-trick instead of trying to chip the goalkeeper, got the ball signed by everyone and then gone home."
Chelsea return to Premier League action tomorrow afternoon as they welcome Everton to Stamford Bridge.
Legit.ng recalls that Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has made a request to his employers he wants to make two new signings in the January window.
According Italian news media outfit Corriere dello Sport, the 59-year-old wants a center-half and a center-forward to bolster his squad.
Sarri's top two targets play in the Italian Serie A including Juventus' Daniele Rugani and Genoa's goalscoring sensation Krzysztof Piatek.
