Emerging reports have claimed that some suspected thugs stormed Ondo state House of Assembly due to the impeachment of Speaker Bamidele David Oloyelogun.
According to an online medium, Sahara Repoters, Oloyelogun was impeached on Friday, November 9, together with his deputy Ogundeji Iroji.
It was learnt that the duo were removed over alleged "gross misconduct and incompetence, and exhaustion of the budget allocation to the Assembly running into N1.5billion."

Olamide George, representing Akure north constituency, is said to have taken over speaker's job, while Abimbola Fajolu, representing Ile Oluji/Oke Igbo, is now the deputy speaker of the Assembly.
Reports further claimed that the hoodlums who are members of National Union of Road Transport Workers Union, were led by their chairman, Jacob Dabo, aka 'Dajo'.

It was gathered they were armed with dangerous weapons such as sticks and stones, unleashed terror on the presiding officers of Assembly.
Some news men at the scene, however, escaped by whiskers as they chased out of the chamber with broken bottles.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that Ondo state House of Assembly speaker, Bamidele Oloyelogun and his deputy, Iroju Ogundeji were impeached.
Both lawmakers were impeached over alleged gross misconduct. The deputy speaker lroju Ogundeji was earlier impeached and subsequently reinstated early this year. It is not yet clear why the lawmakers took this latest action.
The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) chapter in the state, have, however been in crisis since the party primaries were held ahead of the 2019 general elections.
