Nigerian technologist recounts what a Kenyan lady had to say about Lagos

Lagos is usually regarded as the pride of Nigeria, a city of excellence. But it would appear that not all people see the urban state as such. A Nigerian man has taken to recounting how a Kenyan lady has come to describe the city as a former war zone.

According to the Nigerian man whose name is Victor Asemota on Twitter, the lady had insinuated that Lagos was a war zone where battles had been fought in the past.

She had precisely told him that the city looked like it was recovering from the aftermath of a war. The woman had thereby inferred that the state was not on par with other places she had been. By extension, this Kenyan lady was insinuating that Lagos was rarely a beautiful place.

Victor who shared this comment made by his Kenyan friend did so in response to a video in which popular professor and former presidential candidate Pat Utomi had said that Nigeria was a miserable place to live in.

This statement made by Pat Utomi had prompted Victor to chip in his own thoughts which was an extension of the words by his friend in Kenya.

Many people on Twitter have taken to responding to the assertion of Victor's friend. While some of them agreed with her, saying people fight wars in Lagos, others did not subscribe to this thought.

This is coming after a lady living in Lagos shared her experience with a beggar. According to her, she had given the person begging a dirty N100 note only to have it returned back to her because it was dirty. Of course, this blatant rejection coming from a person by the roadside shocked the woman in question.
