It has become a general belief that one an unborn baby weighs over 3.5kg the doctor will already advice the mother to opt for a cesarean procedure due to the weight of the baby. Here doctors are scared if the mother will have the strength to push without sustaining so much cut in the private area.
As spotted in Australia, a 28-year-old supermom recently gave birth to a very big baby boy. The boy weighed about 5.6kg at birth. She disclosed that all childbirths are painful regardless of the baby’s weight.
Legit.ng also gathered that the baby’s weight has set a new record, while the new mom Nikki Bell reportedly hailed the sensations as she used no pain killer during the delivery of her baby, Parker James Bell.
Nikki’s was said to have lasted for about two and half hours at Blacktown Hospital, West Sydney. However, both mother and son have been discharged from the hospital.
She said: “I'm sure all births hurt, whether it's 1.7kg of 5.7kg, they all hurt. We are happy to report the not so little Parker and mum Nikki are doing well.” Nikki already had a baby girl, Maddison, before the arrival of her boy.
However, Nikki and family have already started planning how Parker's hefty weight might make him an excellent athlete. She said: "Hopefully he will be a bit of a football player, maybe a front rower, that'll keep his dad happy."
