Actress Zainab Balogun exchanges words with fans who says she is pregnant

Prolific Nollywood actress Zainab Balogun recently married her beau Dikko Nwachukwu in a not too elaborate but glamorous wedding. Usually, every celebrity marriage of this calibre is usually followed by an anticipation for a baby bump.

So it is no surprise that fans of the award-winning celebrity are already on the lookout for a baby bump. As it turns out, one of the numerous followers of the actress took to celebrating way too early after seeing what she thought was a pregnancy shaped body.

This fan whose name is @iamadepeju_alajo on Instagram louded her belief that Zainab Balogun was pregnant with these words: “Baby bump alrdy oluwa seun.”

As it turned out, she was wrong. Zainab's seeming 'pregnant' look was a result of the multiple clothing she wore due to the winter in London where she was attending the Film Africa festival and it was also because of too much milk!

Zainab made this clear in a reply to the fan who had assumed she was pregnant. Her response to iamadepeju_alajo was epic and controversial. Hence, it drew a lot of agitations and support from her other fans.

“Or bloating from two much milk and padding from the two skirts I said I was wearing? Your hype and assumptions will serve you a quick “block” on this Godly Sunday morning. Don’t let the devil use you ma.”

This sort of response coming from Zainab stirred a lot of controversy. Some of her fans agreed with her while others thought that her reply was harsh and unwarranted.

Adepeju who had started the whole squabble called Zainab and other celebrities rude and pompous while yet another fan told the actress and not take offence over the remark which was seemingly harmless.

Surprisingly, Zainab took to replying most of the comments made by her fans and she was not in the least friendly with any of her remarks.

Not only did she ask some of her fans why they kept following her if they thought she was rude and pompous, she also maintained her opinion that her remark to @iamadepeju_alajo was not aggressive.

Meanwhile, it is rather striking that Zainab Balogun got married to her 44-year-old beau Dikko who is the founder of JetWest Airways just few months after saying she was not in a relationship due to the fact that she had not found any Lagos guy worthy of her attention. It would appear that the airline boss did not just get her admiration but also swept her off her feet.
