Singer Dammy Krane reveals he has learnt his lesson after credit card fraud scandal

The showbiz industry is a tough one and it has led to several competitions between entertainers as they try to outdo each other. Despite being cloaked with the appearance of glitz and glamour, several people still suffer adverse effects of being in the public eye.

The industry looks like a lucrative one on the outside; however, time has shown that things are not always what they seem to be.

Some celebrities have been trailed by negative reports owing to the fact that they try to live a life above their means.

Nigerian music star, Dammy Krane, was enmeshed in scandalous reports after he was arrested for credit card theft and fraud in the US.

He was arrested on June 2, 2017, in Miami, but was granted bail.

All that seems to be in the past for the Amin singer as he is now back in the country and trying to get his music career back on track.

In a recent interview with Hip TV, the Dammy Krane reflected on his past troubles as he revealed how he has been able to get past it.

He explained that God is to thank for his breakthrough because he is now topping charts.

He said: “People were talking about me last year; they were talking about the jail issue. And this year, I’m the number one on the chart.

“What made me beat that case last year and what made me number one on the chart [this year] is God, there’s no other thing.”

This is good news. Hopefully, he would stay out of trouble and keep making good music like he is known for.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng also reported that Nigerian rapper, Saucekid, has finally been released from jail after he was arrested for credit card fraud.

He was sentenced to two years in jail in Idaho, USA after he was convicted of stealing $15,388 (N4.8 million) using over 15 stolen credit cards.

According to the charges against him, Saucekid obtained stolen bank card numbers and identifying information for their owners. He then encoded the account numbers onto blank plastic cards.
