Jose Mourinho has reportedly told Manchester United chiefs to go back for 23-year-old Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic Savic when the January 2019 transfer window opens.
United wanted to sign the Serbian professional footballer last summer in an £80 million deal, but his Italian club refused to do the business with the Premier League club.
And now that Manchester United are not finding it easy in all competitions this season, Jose Mourinho wants Sergej Milinkovic to be a member of his squad next year according to UK Sun.
But Milinkovic-Savic agreed a new deal with Lazio this month, and Manchester United will now have to step up their bid in January for the possibility of signing the player.
Jose Mourinho also scouted Sergej Milinkovic-Savic during Serbia's 2-0 win over Montenegro on Thursday night.
The former Real Madrid manager will be able to use his Chelsea pal Mateja Kezman to help land Milinkovic-Savic in January.
