Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge has won the Premier League goal of the month for September
Sturridge claimed the award for his late equaliser in the 1-1 draw at Chelsea on September 29.
Sturridge curled the ball over Blues goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and into the top corner in the 89th minute from 25 yards as the Reds maintained their unbeaten start to the 2018-19 Premier League campaign.
Interestingly, the goal came few minutes after entering the game, as a substitute.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously had reported that Premier League giants Chelsea were on Saturday, September 29, forced to a 1-1 draw by visiting Liverpool in a tough Premier League match played at Stamford Bridge.
Belgium international Eden Hazard scored the first goal for Chelsea in the 25th minute after being assisted by Mateo Kovacic.
But Englishman Daniel Sturridge came off the bench to score the equalizer for Liverpool at the death and it was Xherdan Shaqiri that assisted him.
