The harder they come, the harder they fall - Femi Adesina declares

Femi Adesina, the special adviser to the president on media and publicity, may have given an indication that President Muhammadu Buhari will win the 2019 presidential election regardless of who his opponent is in the poll.

Though, the presidential aide in a tweet on Thursday, October 11, did not mention names, he however made it clear that he was making a reference to the 2019 presidential election.

“The harder they come, the harder they fall. 2019 presidential election on my mind,” Adesina posted.

The post by the presidential aide came shortly after a report emerged that former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, has endorsed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)'s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, ahead of the 2019 presidential election.

Legit.ng had reported that the Atiku Abubakar may have gotten the nod of his former boss, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, on Thursday, October 11, as he seeks to be Nigeria's president in 2019.

Atiku had a meeting at Obasanjo’s home at about 1:12 p.m Thursday afternoon, accompanied by PDP national chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, and the director general of the Atiku Campaign Organisation, Otunba Gbenga Daniel.

Also present in the meeting was a top chieftain of the main opposition party, Chief Olabode George, and Afenifere leaders led by Chief Ayo Adebanjo.
