- They will be hoping for outright victory in that game as they trail both South Africa and Libya with one point

- Captain John Obi Mikel has been excluded from this fixture as he was said to have suffered an injury while playing for his Chinese club side

Nigeria battle Libya this weekend in a crucial 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

Having beaten Seychelles 3-0 in their second group game away from home, the Super Eagles will be hoping they can build on that performance to see off the Mediterranean Knights on Saturday.

As it stands in Group E, the three time African champions currently sit third on the table with three points - one behind both South Africa and Libya who have four points apiece.
