Getting verified on social media is often considered a thing worthy of celebration especially with Nigerian celebs. This comes as no surprise seeing that they are often targets of impersonation which has been made easy by the presence of social media.
Most Nigerian celebs consider it a big deal when they become verified on social media and reality star, Princess is no different as she has taken to the platform to celebrate the new feat.
The drama queen who was evicted at the early stage in the BBNaija reality show, may not have gained as much media presence as some of her housemates but she sure has a pretty huge following on Instagram which is about 181k fans and followers on the picture-sharing app.
Having confirmed the news, she took to her Insta Story to show her excitement. However, she did manage to throw a bit of shade at people who pay to get verified. She wrote: "Just saw d blue tick next to my name...If Instagram endorses me that's all I need..no more fake pages fam. Thank u Insta. I'll throw a popcorn and peanut party. Sure feels good when you don't have to buy it."

This is coming several months after fellow ex-housemate and finalist, Tobi Bakre, was accused of buying followers on the platform.
However, the reality star reacted to the news, stating that he had no hands in it. He had this to say:
“To whoever tampered with my insta account. Wereva it came from. Good or bad place. Success and happiness in life has no correlation with social media following. So pls ehn. Bt to the people who took out time and resources to be validating such. May God provide jobs for you.”
Congrats to Princess on getting the blue tick!
