- However, it was all a scheme to rob her of her hard earned money
Remi Adeoye,a Nigerian man, was aggrieved after his sister was allegedly duped of her money. He took to Facebook to voice out his aggression and dissatisfaction at the evil act.
The sister who lives in California, USA, met a guy on Facebook. The unidentified guy had been sending her a lot of messages. She later unblocked him after a series of unpleasant messages.
However, Remi's sister later unblocked him only for him to declare that he was interested in marrying her. The scammer who claimed to be living in the United States as well started having a long distance relationship with the said victim.
For a while, this continued even as he introduced a woman who he called his mother. Later, he brought a girl into the picture, saying she was the daughter he had from his past affair with a woman.
In a well staged scheme, the 'mother' to the scammer called the sister of the Nigerian man in question to say the supposed daughter had been brutally injured in an armed robbery and thus needed to receive medical attention urgently.

After a lot of persuasions, the unsuspecting victim bought into their schemes and sent them $1300 through a said Nigerian account. Once the money was sent, the scammer later ceased talking to her and later cut off all the communication channels with her.
Remi, the brother to the lady who was duped, felt really bad given that he had urged his sister to give the relationship a chance. But nonetheless, the Nigerian who has already begun investigating the identity of the internet fraudster was very confident that he would be reprimanded in no time.
