Former Manchester United assistant manager Rui Faria leads the chase to land Aston Villa managerial job.
The 43-year-old becomes the new favourite to be named the Clarets new boss after Thierry Henry recently turned down the job.
According to the Mirror, former Chelsea and Aston Villa defender John Terry is expected to be appointed the assistant manager.
The publication reveals that Faria's agent Jorge Mendes has been advising Villa's new owners after they axed Steve Bruce.
Henry was almost taking the job before being approached by French League side Monaco.
