- Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi is on the radar of Aston Villa
- The 17-year-old is part of the Chelsea first-team but has not featured since the Community Shield
- Hudson-Odoi will join Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham at Aston Villa if the deal goes through
Championship side Aston Villa are plotting a loan move for Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi in the winter transfer season in January.
According to a UK Sun report citing Birmingham Mail, managerless Aston Villa are eager to sign the Blues highly-rated youngster on loan in January to boost their quest for promotion at the end of the campaign as well as help the player’s development.
The 17-year-old winger is ranked highly at west London but has gone down the pecking order behind Hazard, Willian, Pedro and Victor Moses.
During the club’s pre-season he performed excellently and was named in the team in Chelsea’s defeat to Manchester City in the Community Shield.
Interestingly, Villa eggheads are keen to link up Hudson-Odoi with Chelsea teammate Tammy Abraham, who is on season-long loan at West Midlands outfit.
Already, Chelsea is looking forward to see Hudson-Odoi, emerge a top player and become an integral part of the club’s first-team in the future.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously had reported that Chelsea star Alvaro Morata has insisted that his Premier League outfit will have issues holding on to Eden Hazard amid Real Madrid interest.
The Belgium international has been heavily linked with Los Blancos following their poor start to the season.
They have gone four games without a win in all competitions - with three out of their last four games had ended in defeats for the Santiago Bernabeu side.
