Such is the case of Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji. The thespian has definitely had a good year in her career as she keeps breaking boundaries and achieving great feats.
According to reports, the dark skinned beauty is gaining grounds internationally as she recently signed a deal with the United Talent Agency (UTA), based in California.
This is a great step in the right direction and it would definitely boost her career seeing as Hollywood actors such as Johnny Depp, Seth Rogen, Amy Schumer, Angelina Jolie, to name a few are also clients represented by the agency.
The prolific filmmaker would be opportune to featuring in more Hollywood movies, which would bring a positive spotlight to the Nigerian movie industry as well portray African stories to the world.
Genevieve is obviously a goal getter and she doesn’t seem to settle for mediocrity. Recall that Legit.ng earlier reported that her movie, Lion Heart, was recently purchased by Netflix.
Apparently, things are looking really good for the elegant actress. On the eve of the movie premier, giant global video streaming network, Netflix, announced a deal to acquire worldwide rights to the movie, making it its first original film from Nigeria.
Netflix has previously licensed Nollywood flicks including romantic comedy The Wedding Party as well as crime thriller October 1, but only after both had been screened in local cinemas.
