Nigerian artistes steal the show at Afrimma 2018 award show

- Singers, Wizkid, Davido and Yemi Alade amongst many other superstars won awards at the just concluded AFRIMMA 2018

- The award show which is dedicated to showcasing African music was held at the House of Blues in Dallas Texas

- Burna Boy and Flavour together with his Liberian friend, Semah, also won awards at the show

Nigerian music entertainers made the country very proud as they bagged numerous awards at the recently held African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA).

The award show which was filled with energetic performances from many African singers across the continent, gave fair recognition to various Nigerian superstars in the music industry.

Topping the list of award winners are Davido and Yemi Alade who emerged as winners of the Best Male West Africa and Best Female West Africa, respectively.

Wizkid however, won two awards for his song, Soco. It emerged winner as Song of the year Award and also Video of the Year.

Flavour and his talented visually impaired Liberian singer, Semah, also got their own spotlight at the event. While Semah won the award for ‘Afrimma Shining Star Award’, Flavour snagged the award for ‘Best Live Act'.

Talented sensational singer, Burna Boy was not left out. The singer who is still trending for the magnificent sold out concert in London, won the award for ‘Best Dancehall/Reggea ‘ .

Davido's DJ and 30 billion gang member, DJ Ecool, also got his fair share of recognition at the award as he emerged as 'Best African DJ USA'.

Popular music producer, Masterkraft also won an award as well. He was given the award for ‘Music Producer of The Year’.

Kudos to these Nigerian talents for making the country proud!
