Manchester United victory over Newcastle will not save Mourinho from being sacked

- Jose Mourinho still risks being sacked despite leading Man United to 3-2 win over Newcastle United

- The Red Devils have not been convincing in all competitions having gone four games before a win until their last win against Benitez's men

- His chances of escaping sack are low as the club are considering hiring a new manager to help better their performance on the table

Manchester United came back from two goals down to beat Newcastle United in their Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Saturday, October 6.

Early goals from Kennedy and Yoshinori Muto but three second half goals from Juan Mata, Anthony Martial and Alexis Sanchez saved the Red Devils blushes in the game.

However, the victory is not enough to help the Portuguese tactician avoid sack owing to series of negative events at Old Trafford.

According to SunSport, the former Chelsea boss has been tipped at odds 4/6 despite the winless streak coming to an end.

"But he’s still the odds-on 4/6 favourite on the Sack Race market and surely glad for the international break this weekend to regather somewhat.

"Neil Warnock is now 7/1 to go first with Cardiff still without a win this season, while Rafa Benitez is just behind at 15/2 with that loss at Old Trafford surely a huge blow as Newcastle also search for their first win of the season.

The Red Devils have struggled since the start of the current season with just four wins all ten matches in all competitions this term.

With the recent outcomes, United are tenth on the EPL table while their goalless draw against Valencia in the Champions League pushed them two points behind Juventus on Group H table.
