Lauretta Onochie, President Muhammadu Buhari’s personal assistant on social media, has bashed Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, following his emergence as the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

She took to social media, shortly after the declaration of the result, to claim that Atiku’s emergence as his party’s flagbearer had made the job of the president’s team easier, Punch reports.

Legit.ng gathers that the presidential aide further claimed that Atiku ran away from the All Progressives Congress to avoid contesting against Buhari in the primary; and that the former vice president out-spent his co-contestants before clinching his party’s ticket.

“You ran away from facing President Buhari in a primary, now you’ll meet him at the presidential elections. Ntor! 14.8 million people made President Buhari their candidate, 26,584 people made Atiku their candidate.
