Many supporters of the PDP presidential aspirants jostling for the party’s ticket at the ongoing national convention have been seen around the venue in Port Harcourt.
The aspirants are: Alhaji Atiku Abubakar; Senator Bukola Saraki; Ibrahim Dankwambo;Rabiu Kwankwaso; Aminu Tambuwal; Ahmed Makarfi; and Jonah Jang.
Others are: Senator David Mark; Sule Lamido; Atahiru Bafarawa; Tanimu Turaki; Datti Baba-Ahmed; and Stanley Osifo.
Atiku's supporters were said to have been seen on the vice president customised shirts while Kwankwaso's supporters were only identified by their caps.
The supporters of the two presidential aspirants were reportedly saying that they can only wish anyone who gives them money well.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that the PDP's National Convention started on Saturday, October 6 and is expected to end tomorrow, Sunday, October 7.
The opposition party's bigwigs and delegates are in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital for the make or mar convention and presidential primary where they will elect the presidential candidate that will be slugging it out with President Buhari in 2019.
The party said it has put in place strategies to ensure that the presidential primary is transparent.

In a related development, Taminu Turaki, a PDP presidential aspirant and ex-minister under former president Goodluck Jonathan's administration, stepped down for the Senate president, Bukola Saraki, at the party's National Convention holding in Port Harcourt.
Turaki is said to have taken the decision during the ongoing party's national convention in Port Harcourt.
