Teenager killed by the obsessed and abusive ex she complained about

- A 17-year-old girl, Lashonda Childs has reportedly been killed by her abusive ex-boyfriend

- According to reports, her ex identified as Trendell Goodwin who has since been arrested, shot her dead on October 2, 2018

- Lashonda has earlier complained on Facebook about the obsessive and abusive behaviour of Goodwin

Yet another person has fallen victim to domestic violence and with a tragic ending too. Identified as Lashonda Childs, the 17-year-old was reportedly gunned down by her obsessive and abusive ex-boyfriend.

Police arrested 28-year-old Trendell Goodwin and has been charged with felonious assault in connection with the shooting of the teenage girl on Shoop Avenue in Ohio, U.S. Reports shows that Lashonda had once complained about her killer.

According to Lashonda's mother, Nina, the two had started dating in September, 2017. However, shortly after they begun the relationship, Lashonda discovered Trendell was not 20 as he had led her to believe.

Lashonda after breaking up with Trendell, had taken to her Facebook page to complain about her situation, warning others against abusive relationships.

Few months after the discovery, the abus began. From biting her, beating her, setting her hair on fire to destroying her personal belongings, Lashonda's family claims the relationship was a toxic one which she was in the process of leaving.

LaShonda filed for a protection order, but Nina said it was never served because Goodwin kept avoiding it.
