President Muhammadu Buhari held an important closed door meeting with nine All Progressives Congress (APC) governors.
The president met with them on Wednesday, October 4 at the State House
This was confirmed by Bashir Ahmad who is the personal assistant to the president on new media.
They are governors of Imo, Zamfara, Ogun, Plateau, Ondo, Kebbi, Niger, Oyo and Nasarawa states.
Legit.ng had reported that President Muhammadu Buhari held an important closed-door meeting with Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna and his Ondo counterpart, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

The Punch reports that the two governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress met with the president on Wednesday, October 3.
Details of the meeting have not been made public yet but it may not be unconnected to the controversy surrounding the party's primary election in several states.
