Ogun APC primary: Former governor's house defaced as tension grips residents

- The home of Ogun state former governor, Olusegun Osoba, was defaced with grafitti

- Osoba's home was defaced by unknown men believed to be protesting the APC governorship primaries conducted in the state

The Abeokuta home of former governor of Ogun state, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, was on Tuesday defaced by unknown people believed to be potesting the controversial governorship primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held in the state.

Vanguard reports that the graffiti which was said to have been discovered on Tuesday morning read, “Politically RIP, Osoba”.

Osoba had earlier reported that two persons who surveyed his home with a drone were arrested by security operatives.

According to the press release issued by one of his aides, the graffiti had recently been written on the walls of the former governor’s home among a series of other security breaches.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that the Ogun chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday, October 2, complained about the “frustrating and unsatisfactory treatment” meted out to it by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party over the governorship primaries.

The Secretary to the state government (SSG), Barrister Taiwo Adeoluwa, expressed the position at a press conference in Abeokuta. Adeoluwa who described himself as a stakeholder in the party said he addressed the conference on behalf of the party and all the good people of the state.
