Salah spotted in Mourinho's hotel in Manchester with international teammate Sobhi

- Mohamed Salah was spotted at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester

- The hotel is the same place Jose Mourinho is lodged since 2016

- The Egyptian has scored three goals for Liverpool this season

Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah was spotted in Lowry Hotel in Manchester, same place Jose Mourinho is lodged.

However, the Egyptian's visit to the hotel was not to see Manchester United's manager, but to hook up with Huddersfield winger and international teammate Ramadam Sobhi.

The luxury hotel however is where United players gather before they depart to play home matches at Old Trafford.

And there is no suggestion that the Egyptian is about to do dump Liverpool for a sensational reunion with his former Chelsea manager.

Salah has started the season slow, scoring just three goals in eight matches but has helped Liverpool sit in second position behind Manchester City of goal difference.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils have recorded their slowest start in a Premier League season in as many years with a 3-1 defeat to West Ham at the weekend piling more pressure on Mourinho.

The 55-year-old gaffer has lived in the five-star hotel since he was appointed manager at the Theatre of Dream in 2016.

Mourinho told the BBC earlier this year: “The apartment is in The Lowry hotel but I live in a fantastic apartment and it would be difficult to find another one in fantastic conditions, so don’t feel sorry for me in relation to that.

“I feel at home at the training ground, I spend lots of hours in here and like in any other city I have worked before I really don’t get the best from the city because my life is football.”

Meanwhile, had earlier reported that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has come to terms with the fact that his employers are getting ready to sack him after getting a call from Zinedine Zidane.

The former Real Madrid manager has been heavily linked to take over from the Portuguese manager after United's poor string of results.
