Singer Simi blasted by Nigerians for her reaction to the Osun state governorship election

Politics in Nigeria is something that sometimes makes citizens of the country want to ask questions. It has been said by several people that Nigeria is a country where democracy doesn’t operate, because what is presented as democracy is a sham.

In recent times, the news of the Osun state governorship election has been on the minds of people, particularly because the first election result was rejected and a rerun was conducted.

However, some people are of the opinion that the rerun was seriously rigged and that the person that emerged as the winner, Oyetola, wasn’t the people’s choice.

Music star, Simi, also posted a tweet which some people perceived to be her reaction to the election.

The Joromi star tweeted:

“Why would you want to lead people that don’t want you to lead them? #stumped”
