- Serie A champions Juventus are no longer interested in Paul Pogba according to reports
- He has been previously linked with a move back to Old Lady after series of bust ups with Mourinho
- The only viable option for him if he doesn't want to star at United will be to join Barcelona
Italian League giants Juventus have reportedly dumped their chase for want-away Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba.
The Russia 2018 World Cup winning midifielder was linked with a return to the Allianz Stadium this summer but the deal was blocked by Red Devils chiefs.
He was not listed in United's squad that got dumped out of the EFL Cup at the third round stage on Tuesday, September 25.
However, his relationship with his manager Jose Mourinho took downward turn as both clashed once again at the club's training pitch on Wednesday morning.
A foottage showed that the Portuguese tactician ordered the Frenchman to leave the stadium for coming late to training.
An incident that followed Pogba's criticisms of his boss’ tactics in the wake of the 1-1 draw with Wolves last weekend.
After which he was stripped of the vice-captaincy and subsequently dropped for the midweek defeat to Derby.
The 25-year-old could still join Barcelona as they were close to landing him this summer, since Juve seem uninterested in their former star anymore.
Sporting director Fabio Paratici made things clear by saying: “He is a Manchester United player.
"As long as he remains a Manchester United player, it’s best that I don’t talk about players at other clubs.”
Legit.ng previously reported that Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has informed club boss Jose Mourinho of his intention to join Spanish giants Barcelona.
Dailymail reports that his request was one of the reasons he was demoted from the assistant captain role at Old Trafford.
He was also left out of the squad that crashed out of the EFL Cup at the third round stage two nights ago after losing 8-7 to Derby County on penalties.
