- Leganes goalkeeper not happy with Barcelona player's attitude
- The La Liga champions were handed their first defeat of the season
- Cuellar says Barcelona should have been more professional after the match
Ivan Cuellar goalkeeper of La Liga side Leagnes has branded Barcelona 'ugly' following the reaction of their players to Wednesday night's game.
Surprisingly, Leganes stunned the champions 2-1 in a midweek La Liga match despite Phillipe Coutinho giving the visitors the lead.
But the relegation-threatened side came back with goals from Nabil El Zhar and Oscar Rodriguez Arnaiz that gave Leganes record an emphatic win.
But Cuellar was livid because none of the Barcelona exchanged pleasantries with his teammates after the blast of the final whistle.
Enersto Valverde brought in new legs into the squad including Thomas Vermaelen at left-back and Munir deployed to the right flank.
The changes did not give the desired effect as the Catalan giants were humbled with their first defeat of the season.
Leganes, however, will draw positives from the match as they will hoping to get out of the bottom three on the La Liga table.
Barcelona on the other hand, will welcome Athletic Bilbao to the Camp Nou in a bid to bounce back to winning ways.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Spanish League champions Barcelona were handed their first defeat of the season after losing 2-1 to Leganes away from home.
Brazil superstar Philippe Coutinho opened scoring for the Catalans in the 12th minute of the encounter after being assisted by Lionel Messi.
