APC group berates Davido over comments on Osun rerun

- An APC UK group has berated Davido for spreading what it described as fake information

- It added that the popular singer is a novice, inexperienced to dabble into Osun politics

- The political group also appealed to Nigerians not to subscribe to Davido's fake news

The All Progressives Congress group based in the United Kingdom (APC UK) has slammed the Nigerian ace singer, David Adeleke, known by the stage name Davido, saying that the singer is inexperienced to dabble into the politics of the Osun state.

The Guardian Nigeria reports that the group, in its reaction to Davido's allegation of violence and force in the Osun election rerun process, said the popular musician is nothing but a novice and gospel of fake news.

Legit.ng notes that the rerun election is presently going in Osun state between Davido's uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke who is the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)'s candidate and the candidate of the APC, Gboyega Oyetola.

The two leading parties are in a fierce battle to win the election, raising speculations from Davido that the ruling party in the state is on the course of rigging.
