- Aaron Ramsey contract expires next summer and talks over a new deal have collapsed
- The Welshman is now expected to leave for free next summer
- Presently there are no offers on the table for Ramsey to sign with nine months to go
Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is set to quit the Premier League campaigners for free at the end of the current campaign.
According to a UK Daily Mail report, talks over a potential extension of his present deal at the Emirates side, have now broken down and the 27-year-old Welshman will leave when his contract expires.
At the last count, Ramsey has been an important member of the Gunners squad, since his arrival from Cardiff in 2008.
The midfielder has made over 335 appearances for Arsenal, netting 58 times, and has also lifted three FA Cups during his spell at the north London outfit.
During the 2017/18 season, Ramsey emerged the player of the year for the second time, in the final year of Arsene Wenger’s reign at the Emirates.
Already, new Gunners manager Unai Emery has spoken nicely about the Welshman, since taking charge in May.
In August, the former PSG and Sevilla boss described Ramsey as an “important player” and suggested he could likely, captain the club in future.
However, it now seems his stay at Arsenal is coming to an end after club’s chiefs, decided to discontinue with talks to extend his stay.
Interestingly, Ramsey who was named in UEFA’s team of Euro 2016 after playing important role in Wales’ historic run is not expected to run short of suitors.
At the last count, top clubs that include Chelsea, Manchester United and Juventus are reportedly considering a switch for the Welshman, who currently pockets about £110,000-per-week.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously had reported that Arsenal superstar Aaron Ramsey has reportedly been offered to Italian champions Juventus and the Old Lady are only ready to sign the Wales midfielder on two conditions.
Aaron Ramsey's current contract at the Emirates stadium will expire at the end of the current Premier League season and the Gunners could lose him on a free transfer.
According to the report by Calcio Mercato, Juventus are only willing to sign Ramsey if his wage demands are reasonable and his agent’s cut of the deal is not too high.
