Some Nigerians in the New York, United States of America, have pledged their support for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari during the general election in 2019.
Legit.ng reports that a presidential aide, Lauretta Onochie, on her Facebook page on Wednesday, September 26, said the Nigerians in Diaspora were on hand on Wednesday, September 26, to lend their voices and time in support of President Muhammadu Buhari.
She wrote: "Happening now in New York. Some Nigerians were on hand to lend their voices and time in support of President Muhammadu Buhari. God bless Patriots. God Bless Nigeria."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that President Muhammadu Buhari was cheered by his wife Aisha and his daughter Halima after delivering his address at the General Debate of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Tuesday, September 25.
The governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki, and the minister of health, Isaac Adewole also congratulated the president for his address at the UN general debate.
