The son of former president Olusegun Obasanjo, Abraham Olujonwo Obasanjo, has expressed his willingness to work for the re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a letter addressed to Festus Keyamo who is the director, strategic communications of President Buhari 2019 Presidential Campaign, the son of the former president called on Nigerian youths to support Buhari.
He said the Buhari government is serious about the country's development and called on all Nigerians to support him.
In the signed cover of the letter to Keyamo, Abraham Obasanjo wrote: "Dear Sir, please find attached a statement of my public declaration and support for the 2019 second term re-election bid of our highly esteemed President Buhari.
“I have taken a personal decision to release the statement and to notify you of my availability to work for the re-election of our dear President Muhammadu Buhari with sincerity and loyalty.
“Please accept my assurances of the highest regards.”

This is coming even though his father is opposed to Buhari’s re-election bid.
Recall that Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Nigeria's former president, on Tuesday, January 23, asked President Muhammadu Buhari, not to seek re-election in 2019 as he is already being pressured to do by some Nigerians.
In a statement: The Way Out: A Clarion Call for Coalition for Nigeria Movement, Obasanjo said President Buhari has performed far below expectation just as he added that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is not the solution to the country's challenges.
