German champions Bayern Munich are reportedly set to complete the signing of James Rodriguez from Real Madrid in January.

According to Sport Bild reported the Bundesliga champions wants to sign the Colombian superstar on a permanent basis before the January transfer window opens.

The former Monaco star has had a successful stint in with the Allianz Arena outfit as the Bundesliga side will reportedly pay €42 million for the 27-year-old's signature after the player settled well in Bavaria.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Real Madrid is the club that benefited the most at the FIFA's The Best awards with five of their stars winning honours in different categories.

The entire Los Blancos squad showed off their trophies in the Tuesday's training session as the winning players returned to Spain.

The stars who won award includes -Thibaut Courtois, Raphael Varane, Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric and Marcelo and their team mates posed at the Ciudad training ground.
