Buhari’s 3 years in office far better than PDP’s 16-year rule - Niger Delta minister Usani declares

Usani Usani, Nigeria’s Niger Delta affairs minister, has declared that the three years President Muhammadu Buhari has so far spent in government in the country surpasses the 16 years of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Leadership reports that Usani said this as he answered questions from journalists few days after handing over ultra modern town hall building/solar power boreholes to the Ishibori community of Ogoja local government area of Cross River state.

The report quoted Usani as stressing that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari made tremendous impact in the upgrading/infrastructural provision within the Niger Delta region.

Usnai commended Buhari and his administration for leading the country right just as he stressed that all the projects that he has executed since he came in minister had impacted positively in the lives of the people of the region.

According to him, the president has ensured that contractors who often abandoned projects in about nine states in the south south region suddenly resumed work to ensure that they met the target before the year ends.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Chris Ngige, Nigeria’s labour and productivity minister, said it would be better for Igbo people to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 election because of favourable indications that he would win.

Ngige said this when he addressed reporters. He accused Igbo people of suffering from self-inflicted marginalisation even when they have opportunity to redeem their predicament.

Ngige said only Buhari’s presidency in 2019 could guarantee Igbo presidency in 2023, adding that the president is the only one that would relinquish power after the next four years.
