Two Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United are among 18 clubs keeping vigil on goalkeeper Odisseas Vlachodimos.
According to a UK Daily Mail report citing sources in Record, a total of six Premier League clubs-Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Newcastle reportedly dispatched scouts to see the 24-year-old Benfica goalie in action over a potential move.
Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich alongside RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt also had their representatives on the stands.
The report further revealed that Bayern are eager to seal the deal for the German who has been on their radar since his days Stuttgart.
Vlachodimos, who wears the number 99, has impressed for the Portuguese side so far this season.
Interestingly, Vlachodimos, who currently wears the number 99, started his football career with Stuttgart before switching to Panathinaikos in 2016.
The shot-stopper joined Benfica from the Greek side this summer.
Already, he has just one under-21 cap for Germany, but was in the thick of the action in Benfica’s loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously had reported that two Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal are reportedly interested in Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.
The Frenchman has been in superb form in the new Ligue 1 season scoring four goals and creating three assists.
According to French media outfit France Football, United and the Gunners are already making inquiries for the 23-year-old for a potential January move.
