Husband thanks wife, says he's a graduate because of her

- A husband shared a heartfelt message for his wife on Twitter

- He said she was at university when they met, but all he had was a matric

- Instead of looking down on him, she inspired him to become a graduate

A Johannesburg-based man has gushed over his supportive wife on Twitter recently for never looking down on him.

Using the Twitter handle @BasaniCleaners, the hubby shared photos of himself and his wife, Boledi Makofane.

He wrote:"She was at varsity, on magazine covers and I was an unemployed dude with matric and a driver's license only. She saw me not for what I was but for what I can become. She pushed me and loved me. I'm a graduate all thanks to this black woman."

Boledi is a model, learned. This isn't the first time her appreciative hubby has praised her on Twitter.

Earlier in September, he wished her a happy birthday with another heartwarming message.

"I pray that you meet someone who will help you achieve your dreams. This born-free changed my life; I was a mess. You saw something in me that only mothers see in their children. You saw me for what I can be, and not for what I was."
