Davido says thank you after INEC official who tampered with result got arrested

Things were heated up in Osun state as the governorship election polls were being announced. And the heat seems to be spreading even on social media as well, as Davido sends out tweets upon tweets to update fans.

The popular artistes made his support for his uncle Ademola Adeleke known few weeks ago. The singer has been rallying and campaigning for his uncle ever since he announced his support for his uncle and the Peoples Democratic Party.

He had sent out some tweets calling out the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) and as things heat after an official of the commission was caught tampering with result, the singer sent out another tweet reacting to the incident.

Legit.ng had earlier reported that an INEC official Mutiu Kolawole was caught tampering with Osogbo local government area election result after he tore up the poll script.

It was gathered that the official was arrested by security personnel at the election venue. The singer immediately sent out a tweet reacting to the arrest.

Davido thanked the security force for the arrest. He wrote: "#OSUNDECIDES2018 The compromised @inecnigeria Official, Alao Mutiu Kolawole, that removed the results at Aiyedadde LGA to cover up INEC manipulation has been arrested by the @PoliceNG. He confessed that he was ordered to do the dirty job by her boss, Mrs Aderinoye. Thank you ."

Legit.ng had earlier reported that Davido alleged that there are plans by the electoral commission to declare poll inconclusive. He called on supporters to fight the injustice.
