Wales international Gareth Bale has made a stunning remark about Cristiano Ronaldo, claiming Real Madrid are working more as a team presently.
The Portuguese ace moved to Juventus in the summer for £88million after spending nine years at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Ronaldo scored a staggering 451 goals in 430 appearances for Los Merengues and won two La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies.
Bale has now taken center stage, with the 29-year-old scoring three goals and making two assists in four games this season, following Ronaldo's departure, .
The Welshman has revealed that things are more relaxed now Ronaldo's has left the club and confessed that things are different.
He told The Daily Mail : "Obviously it's going to be a little different from having such a big player there.
"It's maybe a bit more relaxed, yes. I suppose there is more of a team, more working as one unit rather than one player."
The left-footed winger also reflected on his mindset when coming on as a substitute in the Champions League final against Liverpool.
After scoring two goals against Liverpool in Kiev, Ukraine, the forward said he would be sitting down with his agent to discuss his future.
"Angry. Quite angry, to be honest," said Bale. "Obviously, I felt I deserved to start the game. I'd been scoring goals. So yeah, I suppose it was hard to put the anger aside."
