A presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sule Lamido, has been invited by the elder statesmen from four of the six geo-political zones of the country under the aegis of Southern and Middle Belt Leaders Forum (SMBLF), Vanguard reports
Legit.ng gathers that ahead of the PDP primaries and the 2019 general election, the forum, led by a former minister, Edwin Clark, on Monday, September 17, asked Lamido to explain his plans for the regions in terms of infrastructural development, economy and peoples' welfare.
Recall that prior to Lamido, about three aspirants have previously been invited by the forum at the residence of Chief Clark in Abuja. The earlier visitors to the Asokoro residence are the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar; former Sokoto state governor, Attahiru Bafarawa, and Sina Fagbenro of KOWA party.
The forum stated that they will not endorse any of the political aspirants, including Buhari, unless they reveal their blueprints for the regions and the nation to them.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the ex vice president Atiku Abubakar, was invited by the forum on Sunday, September 9, to discuss his programmes and policies for the country.
The forum also extended an invitation to other aspirants including President Muhammadu Buhari to present their development blueprints and plans for the nation.
The regional leaders at the meeting, according to report, included Niger Delta leader, Chief Edwin Clark; president-general of Ohanaeze, John Nwodo; Afenifere chieftain, Chief Ayo Adebanjo; president, Middle Belt Forum, Bitrus Pogu and a host of others.
