Creative Arts enthusiasts from across Africa and the rest of the world on Saturday, September 15, invaded Landmark Events Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos for the seventh edition of the annual Lagos Comic Con.
The event, organised by Mustardseed Communication International, has grown from 300 guests in 2012 into Africa’s biggest geek event with over 4000 guests in a one-day event.
No other event or platform in the whole of Africa brings together comics, games, animation, films, books and virtual reality under one festival roof. It is hence, an event targeted at geeks and nerds.
Legit.ng, the foremost digital media in Nigeria, covered the 7th Lagos Comic Con which was packed with raw energy and excitement as all corners and zones bustled with thrill.
It was indeed a geek marketplace on steroids; a Mecca for geeks just like you see in America at the San-Diego Comic Con.
The Lagos Comic Con 2018 aside from exhibitions, awards, competitions and stage performances also featured numerous workshops and panel discussions on industry-relevant topics with speakers from all over the world.
