- Englishman Chris Smalling scored a goal for Manchester United on Saturday
- United won the match 2-1 and they are now occupying 8th position on the table
- Jose Mourinho says the only thing he does not like about Smalling after the game is his haircut
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has explained the only thing he does not like about star defender and Englishman Chris Smalling.
The 28-year-old player scored the winning goal for Manchester United on Saturday, September 15, in their away win at Watford which reduced the pressure on manager Jose Mourinho.
But despite Chris Smalling's winning goal against Watford, Jose Mourinho claimed that the only thing he is not impressed with about the Englishman is his new haircut.
"We trained the corner and it's the best thing that can happen to coaches when you train and see it happen in the match.
"They are happening in the last three matches, even against Tottenham. Things we are working on, position and movement.
"The set pieces are a very specific thing. You work and work and for weeks you don't see the result so when it happened it was happiness for coaches.
"The only thing I don't like at this moment with Chris Smalling is the haircut but I am no one to tell him that,'' Jose Mourinho explained according to Daily Star UK.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Manchester United defeated Watford 2-1 in their fifth game of the season in which Romelu Lukaku and Chris Smalling scored the two goals for the Red Devils.
Belgium international Romelu Lukaku netted the first goal in the 35th minute, while Chris Smalling scored the winning goal for Manchester United in the 38th minute.
