It's become a trend for Nigerian ladies and even men to prove they can make a pot of soup in the cheapest way possible. Legit.ng earlier shared how a Nigerian lady went viral when she revealed that she made okro soup using just N1000 for ingredients.

With the Nigerian economy plunging and living many Nigerians struggling for basic necessities, cooking delicious meals with the little or no amount of money is now goals for most people. While these cheap soup revelation is helping a lot of people, some have started using it to prove they are wife materials on social media.

The idea is, the more you can manage and use a meager sum to cook a sumptuous meal, the more qualified you are to manage a home. With this in mind, a Twitter user identified as Queenyetty_1 shared a photo of her own stew, which she claims she made with N300.

She took it a step further and advised men not to marry any woman who can't achieve such feat. When asked how she's was able to do such with such amount, she revealed that she bought main ingredients including Pepper for N50, Fish for N200, oil for N50 and egg for N50. Conveniently, committing details of the spices, which must have cost money.

While some thought she was being sarcastic as they couldn't phantom the possibility of her claim, others just thought her post was targeted at gaining attention on social media. Some even accused her of searching for husband with her N300 pot of soup.

Interestingly, the photo of her soup looks delightful in comparison to a certain a social media user identified as Onah who showed how he can make okro soup with N350.

Onah Paschal Chibuzo, was trying to show the difference between spending little amount and getting 'poor quality', and spending a 'considerably large amount' to get better quality.
