- She says raising kids is the "best job in the world"
A 44-year-old mom in Florida, US, has a whopping 16 children, 12 of them biological and four others adopted.
In an interview with The Sun, Lyette Reback insisted that she and her husband, 49-year-old David, are not stupid for having so many kids.
Their children are aged between two and 22 years old, Legit.ng learned. The couple has 10 daughters and six sons.
Having 12 biological children means that Lyette has been pregnant for almost 10 years of her life. She hasn't had a single C-section.
Incredibly, she home schools all her children and drives them to 88 different sports events every week. Lyette said many people are surprised at their decision to have so many kids:
"At first when there were four or five little girls it was, 'Oh my gosh, you are crazy, how are you doing that?' People would joke or say things like, 'Don't you have a TV in your bedroom?'
Obviously, these remarks were either out of incredulity or they proposed my ignorance, but I am not stupid."

The couple uses a 17-seater van to transport their kids. They also spend $650 (N234,000) on groceries per week and have to draw up a roster of chores for older kids to help out.
Despite all this, Lyette said raising kids is the "best job in the world:"
"David and I were blessed to be able to have children and we really, truly believe that raising children is an incredible opportunity to do something amazing in the world.
I fully understand we have chosen to do life differently than most, but it works for us. We wouldn't have it any other way. Raising children is the best job in the world."
Incredibly, the couple hasn't decided whether they will have more kids or not.
Based on her experience, Lyette has also written a book about parenthood title Please God, Don't Let Me Screw This Up.
