Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state reportedly vowed that no official of the state will appear before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for probe.

The governor spoke after the EFCC made enquiries about the state’s alleged N117 billion transactions in the past three years.

The governor reportedly accused the EFCC of politically-motivated investigation and that until the 2007 judgement barring the anti-graft agency from investigating the state, no official would appear for probe.
