Edgar Davids slams Paul Pogba’s performances for Manchester United

Dutch legend Edgar Davids has blasted France World Cup ace Paul Pogba, conceding that he is still “unconvinced” by the former Juventus midfielder’s performance, since moving from the Serie A champions to Manchester United.

According to a UK Sun report, the 25-year-old Pogba, is constantly under attack at Premier League side Manchester United since returning to Old Trafford in 2016, with reports suggesting the France international is unhappy working with Red Devils’ Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho.

However, Pogba was on top of his game during the summer World Cup, in Russia as the Les Bleus claimed the FIFA World Cup.

However, the France ace is still struggling to showcase the form he exhibited at the mundial in the new campaign, with the Red Devils suffering two defeats in their first four Premier League fixtures.

And Dutch legend Davids, who plied his trade with top clubs that include Juventus, Barcelona, AC Milan and Inter Milan, insists the Frenchman must do more if he wants to be ranked among Europe’s best.

“I am not at all convinced by Pogba. He plays a lot in England, it’s true, but I expected a lot more from him,” Davids was quoted as saying on Canale 5.

Interestingly, La Liga champions Barcelona are still waiting on the wings for Pogba despite landing the pair of Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal and Brazil’s Arthur in the summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously had reported that Italian champions Juventus are reportedly getting ready to make a double swoop for Paul Pogba and Marcelo, The Sun quoting TuttoSport reports.

The Biaconeri made the biggest summer signing when Cristiano Ronaldo join them from Real Madrid in a £99million swoop.

According to Italian media outfit TuttoSport, the Old Lady are plotting a huge swoop to land the Manchester United and Real Madrid superstars respectively.
